2. Collection of Personal Information
We collect Personal Information in connection with our Services. When we use the term “Personal Information” we are talking about information that can be used to identify an individual and may include, but is not limited to, your name, personal or business address, email address, phone number and other contact information, social security, driver’s license or other unique, government-issued identification number, date of birth, and information contained in any image, photograph, form, field, or profile you choose to submit through our Services. “Personal Information” also includes any credit or debit card or other financial account information you may provide to us or our third-party payment application provider for billing purposes. You may always choose not to provide Personal Information, but this may prevent you from receiving certain Services.
MCLLC may also collect non-Personal Information (aggregate, non-individually identifiable or demographic information). An example of non-Personal Information would be system-related information such as IP addresses to perform internal MCLLC functions, use information, browser and browser speed, bandwidth of your Internet connectivity, general location of your server and the pages of our website that were viewed during a visit. We use this information for internal purposes to help us diagnose problems, monitor traffic patterns and otherwise continually improve our Services.
Please note that the Services may provide links to third party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies, practices or the content of websites owned by others that you may link to or that may be linked from the Services. Accordingly, we encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of service of those websites so that you understand how those websites collect, use and share any Personal Information.
3. Use of Personal Information
Please note that MCLLC may store any information you enter through the Services or otherwise provide to us, including without limitation Personal Information. For example, you might fill out a “Contact Us” form, or register to be a user or subscriber of our multimedia- and information-related services. However, MCLLC will not provide your Personal Information to third parties for their own direct marketing or advertising purposes without your prior affirmative consent. If you would like to unsubscribe from MCLLC marketing e-mails, by following the unsubscribe instructions in any such message you receive or by e-mailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org; please note, however, that even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send emails to you regarding transactions requested by you or regarding your relationship with us, such as order confirmations, notices about your account and responses to questions you submit to us via a “Contact Us” or similar form.
4. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose Personal Information and non-Personal Information to other users of the Services as directed by you. We may disclose Personal Information and non-Personal Information to companies, agents, contractors, service providers or others engaged to perform functions on our behalf (such as processing of payments, provision of data storage, hosting of our website, marketing of our products and services, conducting audits, and performing web analytics). These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations. We may also use your Personal Information to compile data in an aggregated, anonymous form not traceable to you, which we may disclose or sell to any third party for any reason.
We may also disclose your Personal Information to third parties when we believe, in good faith and in our sole discretion, that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) enforce or apply the terms and conditions of the Services, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (b) comply with legal or regulatory requirements or an enforceable governmental request, (c) protect the rights, property or safety of us, our users or other third parties, (d) prevent a crime or protect national security, or (e) detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues. We may also disclose non-Personal Information to our clients, business partners, merchants, advertisers, investors, potential buyers and other third parties if we deem such disclosure, in our sole discretion, to have sound business reasons or justifications. We will NOT sell, rent, share or trade your Personal Information to third parties for their own marketing purposes unless you have granted us express affirmative permission to do so. Finally, MCLLC reserves the right to transfer information (including your Personal Information) to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of our company, or in the unlikely event of a bankruptcy, liquidation or receivership of our business.
